Camp Half-Blood Plot

Daily Breakdown of Events

Day One: Good morning, residents of Paradisa! Hope you didn't mind waking up outside some random highway standing next to a strawberry field. There seems to be something going on up the hill so you should go check it out! When you do you will be greeted by satyrs who will welcome you to Camp Half-Blood and give you group tours. Eventually you will reach the cabins and get your cabin assignments. Hope you like your cabin mates, because you're stuck with them for your entire stay at camp. Forgot a change of clothes? Don't worry, because you will be provided with an official Camp Half-Blood T-shirt in bright orange. Very fashionable!

Days Two and Three: You got a schedule of your daily camp activities, so you can either stick to it or not. There's an armory and a forge for all your weapon needs, but it's all celestial bronze so don't expect it to hurt anyone who isn't a monster. There's also volleyball, archery, horseback/pegasusback riding and arts and crafts. You even have an amphitheater if you feel like putting on a Greek tragedy. But it's not all fun and games: you're expected to clean the stables and the bathrooms, too.

Day Four: Have you been enjoying going to the arena for... whatever you're doing there? Well, today you're going to have some trouble because there's a giant hellhound sitting there chewing on a practice dummy. You might also hear some howling off in the woods...

Day Six: It's time for the traditional Capture the Flag game! Have you made allies with your fellow campers? Hope so, because the Hunters of Artemis are undefeated. As if that weren't hard enough, during the game you're going to get attacked by hellhounds and other unpleasant monsters. Surprise!

Day Seven: It's the last day of camp, so hopefully you got rid of all those monsters. The final ceremony will present each camper with a bead depicting the most memorable moment at camp. Hope you had fun, and have a safe trip back to Paradisa!

*Cabin checks: According to the wiki, these are normally scheduled every day, and done by one of the campers-- usually from the Aphrodite cabin. We can do this or we can do more random ones. Again, someone can volunteer for this if they want to spam, or this can be NPC'd.

(I can also make this a little longer if you think it's too rushed. These are just the events that I'm thinking of having during the plot; the specific days don't matter. Any NPCs I'll leave up to you mods if you need them played or not. They would be the hellhounds, the harpies, and other random monsters)

Camp Half-Blood Plot

Buildings and Stuff:

The cabins: Each of the twelve cabins is unique to the god/goddess it represents. For example, the Athena cabin is filled with blueprints and half-finished inventions; the Demeter cabin is decorated with flowers; the Hephaestus cabin is hot with a forge, etc. The Hermes cabin looks the most like a normal summer cabin and is usually overcrowded.

The Big House: Where big meetings are held. Campers were once sent there to seek the guidance from the Oracle of Delphi. On the third floor they will find trophies from previous heroic quests.

The Stables: Where all the horses and pegasi are kept.

The Rock Wall: There are different levels of the rock wall, the most advanced spewing lava if you take too long to get to the top.

Mess Hall: Where the campers eat. It is an open area with tables divided by cabin. Campers don't usually sit with anyone other than cabin-mates.

Arena: Where you will receive combat training, both with and without weapons.

The Hearth: A fire set at the center of camp. There are always a few hot coals, and some campers may notice a young girl tending the fire...

Some useful pictures

The Olympian Gods (see here and here for more details)

Zeus: Lord of the Sky, god of thunder. One of the "Big Three", his children are known to be exceptionally powerful.
Poseidon: Lord of the Sea, god of storms and creator of horses. One of the "Big Three".
Hades: Lord of the Underworld, god of the dead. One of the "Big Three".
Hera: Queen of Olympus, goddess of motherhood and marriage. Traditionally her cabin is empty since she would have no demigod children, but if your character fits then go for it.
Apollo: God of the sun, medicine, poetry, and prophecy. One of the twin archers.
Artemis: Goddess of the moon, the hunt, and maidens. One of the twin archers. Note: only maidens are allowed in her cabin. Maidens are any young girl, preferably fifteen years and younger.
Athena: Goddess of wisdom.
Hermes: God of thieves and travelers. Also acts as a messenger for the gods.
Aphrodite: Goddess of love and beauty.
Ares: God of war.
Demeter: Goddess of agriculture and the seasons.
Dionysus: God of wine.
Hephaestus: God of the forge and fire.
*Hestia: Goddess of the hearth. Although she won't have a cabin represented, I thought to mention her since she will be around the camp.

Other Important Beings to note:
Chiron: Centaur teacher of heroes. Will be absent for this plot.
Oracle of Delphi: A maiden sworn to Apollo who occasionally gives out prophecies. (this role can be filled by a resident) *usually the Oracle is a woman, but if there is enough interest anyone can fill the role
The Dragon: There is a dragon guarding a large pine tree. If residents dare to get close enough, they'll see a golden fleece on the branches. (role filled by resident?)
The Security Guard: The creature in charge of security. (role filled by resident?)

The option of these other roles are in case not everyone wants to be in a cabin. They can also choose to be instructors for the different classes if they prefer.

Camp Half-Blood Plot

Basic Overview

The residents of Cair Paradisa are going to camp! And not just any camp. They're being sent to Camp Half-Blood, a safe haven for children of the ancient gods. While in this camp they will participate in time-honored activities such as archery, riding on pegasi and climbing a lava rock wall. Every night they will sing songs by a roaring fire that will change colors based on the mood of the campers, and will rise based on the volume of the singing.

Three healthy meals a day will be served in an open pavilion. But don't forget to honor the gods with a portion of each meal! Curfew will be strictly observed by the camp harpies. If any camper is caught out of bed after hours, they risk being eaten. Mandatory cabin checks will be performed so please make sure to keep your cabin clean! The best cabins will get privileges, while the worst get punishments. You definitely don't want to be the one cleaning the stables or washing dishes in lava!

The cabins are divided by the twelve Olympian gods. Each camper will be placed in one of these cabins based in their godly parent. (Of course since most residents aren't demigods, the player can choose which god/goddess best represents their character's traits) For those who haven't been claimed by their godly parent or aren't certain of their heritage, no fear! Because the Hermes cabin welcomes all.

Each cabin has a head counselor. These counselors are usually chosen based on the camper who has been there the longest (in game examples being Percy and Nico) but any member of the cabin can challenge the head counselor. If the challenger wins in a fight they will become the new head counselor.

The best part about the camping experience is the camp-wide game of Capture the Flag. Make allies among your fellow campers. Winner gets the laurels! And at the end of camp, each camper will receive a leather necklace with a bead depicting the most memorable event during their time spent at Camp Half-Blood.
